COMPANION AMIMAL HANDLING AND SAFETLY
Hanrob Dog Training Academy (RTO no 70236) offers the Companion Animal Handling and Safety Course which has a strong focus on companion animal care, control, handling and safety, including welfare, capture and transport. With comprehensive support and mentoring during the short course, our training provides participants with the necessary tools needed to achieve training and safety objectives.
The course has been developed specifically to assist people working in any position that may involve interaction with dogs. This can include council rangers, utilities service people, real estate employees, emergency services, pet travel staff, welfare/animal workers, vet nurses, dog walkers, pet groomers, pet shop workers and consumers.
The course will provide your organisation with WH&S compliance, personal development and up skilling of staff, credit transfer of 1 unit towards the full qualification (ACM40310 Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services), VetEd points, marketing leverage, staff achievement and confidence, return on resources, professionalism and most of all training on how to approach and interact with a dog.
ON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE
You will receive a Statement of Attainment in ACMCAS304A Capture, handle and transport companion animals.
